Voyago is currently recruiting for one Full-Time Transit Dispatcher and one Part-Time Transit Dispatcher in London, Ontario!

Your Role

• You schedule new bookings and coordinate with drivers regarding changes
• You Utilize the radio to communicate effectively with all drivers on route drivers
• You ensure all drivers active on routes are on time to maintain customer satisfaction
• You manage and pull a variety of reports as per the managers directive
• You answer phones, and email correspondence in a professional and courteous manner
• You take responsibility for the Emergency Response Plan in the event of a serious collision
• You manage and assist with scheduling vehicle maintenance as required

Requirements

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

Your Profile:

• You have dispatch experience within the transportation or service industry
• You are comfortable using the radio to listen and communicate effectively with all drivers.
• You have superior time management and communication skills
• You are highly organized and able to multitask
• You can take initiative to solve problems and search out the data needed to do so
• You are proficient in computer software with experience in MS Office (Word & Excel)
• You have excellent customer service experience
• You have a clean criminal record search
• You have sound geographic knowledge of surrounding area (London)
• You are available to work the following full-time schedule:
• Week 1 - Sunday 6:30am to 2:00pm, Monday 5:00am to 2:00pm, Friday 5:00am to 2:00pm
• Week 2 – Tuesday 5:00am to 2:00pm, Wednesday 5:00am to 2:00pm, Thursday 5:00am to 2:00pm, Saturday 5:00am to 2:00pm
• You are availabe to work the following part-time schedule:
• Saturdays from 2:00pm to 1:00am and Sundays from 2:00pm to 12:00am
