Job Description
Our client in London, Ontario is currently seeking a full-time
Inside Sales Support Representative on an evaluation hire basis.
This is an entry level position. We are looking for a motivated, self-starter with positive attitude who is willing to learn new things. Inside Sales Support Representative on an evaluation hire basis.
Duties (may include and not limited to):
- Create and maintain customer records, updating details when contacts change or when customers request quotations or place orders
- Help manage existing customer accounts
- Submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature
- Develop a solid understanding of the entire product line
- Organize mail outs of promotional literature to potential new markets
- Build relationships and dealer confidence by maintaining continuous communication with existing accounts
- Provide technical and customer support to both dealers and end users
- Submit activity and result reports, such as weekly margin reports and monthly sales activity
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
- Answer incoming phone calls for general information and sales inquiries
- Help to manage web retailers, mail order catalogs, independent retailers
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills and proven ability to build solid business relationships
- Exceptional phone etiquette and listening skills
- Good computer and keyboarding skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and rapidly shifting priorities
- Upbeat, positive, and friendly personality
- Self-starter, highly motivated with a strong work ethic
- Travel requirements are minimal however some trade show participation may be needed
- Must have reliable transportation, this role is not on a bus route
Hours: Full-time; Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 depending upon experience. Team bonus is also available based on company performance.
