Intake Specialist

We have an opening for an Intake Specialist with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative role. The position offers a collegial work environment as part of a small team with room for professional growth. Reliability is essential, so physical attendance and commitment to this “in the office” job are vital.  This role requires exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and screen incoming calls, emails, and online inquiries from prospective clients.
  • Collect detailed information about potential personal injury claims, including but not limited to motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, and sexual abuse claims.
  • Schedule consultations with lawyers and coordinate follow-ups.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions in the firm’s database.
  • Provide general information about the firm’s services while maintaining client confidentiality.
  • Support the legal team in administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a legal, medical, or customer service environment is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and emotional situations with discretion and empathy.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
