Marketing Specialist

The Marketing Specialist plays a very important role in Big Blue Bubble’s social presence. This role will evangelize Big Blue Bubble’s My Singing Monsters (MSM) game by creating meaningful social content and engaging with our followers as well as increase brand awareness of the game to attract new players.
In this position, you will:
Create and curate high-quality, eye-catching social content, including posts, images, videos (phone), and other media formats that resonate with the gaming community across our existing platforms; TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, social media best practices, and gaming-related news.
Stay on top of social trends and be able to capitalize on those trends immediately when they happen.
Share the voice of our players internally; gathering and analyzing user feedback from social media channels.
Communicate with users directly on social media as well as replying to reviews.
Communicate bug fixes and user experience improvements to the game testing team.
Liaison with the company’s customer support team to keep a pulse on any developing issues.
Ad hoc marketing projects and assistance, as required.
To be an effective team member, you should have:
A degree or diploma in Marketing, Communication, or Business.
1-2 years of experience in marketing or community management, preferably in the video game industry.
Expertise in primary social networks and an understanding of how to optimize content for them.
A passion for staying current with emerging social media trends and technologies.
Ability to multi-task and deliver within deadlines with minimal oversight.
Thorough attention to detail.
Exceptional writing skills including messaging, content marketing, and storytelling.
Experience working with and relating to our core demographic group of pre-teens and teens.
You also have the following attributes and skills:
Understand community social channels such as; Discord, Reddit, forums, and more.
Knowledge and understanding of video games, preferably free to play.
Organized and well structured in your work habits.
Ability to adapt to change and to work under pressure within the agreed timeframes.
