Maintenance Technician

Pay: $30.14–--$40.00/hour

We are hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to support a busy manufacturing operation in St. Thomas. This role is ideal for someone with strong electrical, mechanical, automation, and troubleshooting skills. Experience with stamping, robotics, assembly, or automotive manufacturing is a strong asset.

Location: St. Thomas, ON
Pay Rate: $30.14–$40.00+/hour, depending on experience
Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment
  • Troubleshoot PLCs, robotics, and automated systems
  • Diagnose equipment failures and perform repairs
  • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications
  • Read electrical schematics, technical manuals, and maintenance documentation
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency repairs
  • Support equipment reliability, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Previous industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience
  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and automation
  • Robotics, stamping, assembly, or automotive experience is an asset
  • 442A Industrial Electrician license is a strong asset
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
