Cleaner

Pay: $25.00/hour

We are currently seeking a dependable and experienced Cleaner to support the cleaning and turnover of multiple commercial and hospitality properties. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who takes pride in their work, can work independently, and is comfortable managing cleaning responsibilities across multiple locations.

The position is a 6-week contract with an immediate start, offering approximately 40 hours per week. The primary properties are located very close to one another and are easily walkable, so a company vehicle is not required for the main work locations.

The ideal candidate will have previous commercial, office, hotel, Airbnb, or hospitality cleaning experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively by text and email regarding schedules, updates, and daily responsibilities.

Location: Stratford, ON
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Duration: Approximately 6 weeks
Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week
Start Time: Around 7:00 a.m.
Schedule: Flexible days throughout the week, including weekends as required

What You'll Do

  • Clean and maintain commercial and office properties to a high standard
  • Clean and maintain church properties
  • Complete cleaning and turnover of Airbnb and hotel accommodations
  • Prepare properties for new guests following check-out
  • Complete cleaning tasks prior to guest check-in
  • Ensure rooms and properties are clean, organized, and ready for occupancy
  • Follow cleaning schedules and complete assigned tasks within required timeframes
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail
  • Communicate schedule updates, completed work, and any concerns by text and email
  • Work independently and manage time effectively across multiple properties
  • Maintain cleaning supplies and notify the appropriate contact when supplies are required
  • Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
  • Perform other cleaning and related duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

  • Previous commercial, office, hotel, Airbnb, or hospitality cleaning experience
  • Experience with hospitality turnover or cleaning between guest check-out and check-in is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality of work
  • Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working a flexible schedule, including weekends when required
  • Strong written English communication skills — must be able to communicate effectively by text and email regarding schedules and updates
  • Reliable transportation to the primary work locations is required; the main properties are within walking distance of one another
  • Comfortable travelling to additional properties when required

Transportation & Mileage

A company vehicle is not provided. The three primary properties are located next to each other or directly across the street and are easily walkable.

If additional properties require driving between locations, mileage will be paid for the required travel.
