CNC Machinist

Pay: $20.00-$40.00/hour

IS2 Workforce Solutions is currently seeking experienced CNC Machinists for a leading manufacturing client in London, Ontario. We are looking for skilled machinists who can independently set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC equipment while producing high-quality precision parts.

Whether you're an experienced CNC Machinist looking for your next opportunity or an advanced machinist seeking a higher-level role, we'd love to hear from you.

Location: London, ON (bus accessible)

Pay Rate:

  • $20.00 to $30.00 per hour for experienced CNC Machinists
  • $30.00 to $40.00 per hour for advanced CNC Machinists with strong setup and machining expertise

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machines independently
  • Perform tool changes and machine offsets
  • Troubleshoot machining and production issues
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment
  • Produce precision components according to customer specifications

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience
  • Proven ability to independently set up and operate CNC machines
  • Experience performing offsets, tool changes, and troubleshooting during production
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience with live tooling
  • 3-axis and/or 5-axis machining experience
  • Experience working with Fanuc and Heidenhain controls

Available Shifts

  • Straight Afternoons: Monday to Wednesday 4:00 PM to 3:00 AM, Thursday 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM, Friday 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM
  • Straight Nights: Schedule to be determined
  • Weekend Shift: 12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to successfully pass a Controlled Goods background check
