We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistic Coordinator to join our Logistics team. The Logistic Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of logistics, including shipping, receiving and will have strong data analysis skills.

- Coordinate and manage all logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management
- Select carriers and negotiate contracts and rates.
- Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the logistics perspective.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain efficiency
- Utilize data analysis skills to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement
- Build and manage relationships with external parties, such as suppliers or distributors.
- Review and research client needs and develop the best method of approach to fulfill them
- Oversee the entire process of a shipment, from acquisition to delivery
- Correspond with clients, suppliers, warehouses, and transportation hubs to ensure efficiency
- Organize daily flow, prepare and schedule items for shipments
- Report and coordinate on Frieght issues, collect claims and issue regular status reports to management on damaged or late frieght
- Improve supplier relations for improved efficiency and cost management
- Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking.
- Problem solve for any cases of missing documents, shipments and deliveries.
- Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures and safety regulations.
- Respond to any issues or complaints.
- Evaluate budgets and expenditures.
- Assess supplier performance and implement enhancements.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- 3-5 years shipping and receiving experience preferably in a manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of filling out waybills and bills of landing and international shipments.
- Excellent time management, organizational and prioritizing skills. Exercises good judgment Online shipping, tracking and receiving experience utilizing FedEx, UPS, Purolator and DHL and other carriers.
- Ability to work well when high-pressure time sensitive environment
- Enjoy working as part of a team
- Must have excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment including forklift.
- Computer literacy, including competence in excell and e-mail skills
- Attention to detail in all areas of work.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
