SOFTWARE TRAINER

We currently are looking for a Software Trainer/Support individual to fill a FULL-TIME position, This opportunity is working from a home-office, but may require some time in our office, during the learning/ramp-up period.


CashierPRO, based out of Stratford, Ontario, is a leading provider of Point-of-Sale/Inventory Management systems, designed specifically for small-to-mid size Hardware, Home Improvement, Farm Supply and Building Supply retailers across North America.

CashierPRO is a small company, where employment roles are multi-faceted. This position will include taking the time to learn the “in’s and out’s” of the CashierPRO application, by providing frontline support to our existing client base, and then being able to provide training to new customers.


Position Details:

- To become an expert in the CashierPRO application to be able to provide clients with software support on a day-to-day requirement

- To provide complete training courses (typically 1-to-2 hour scheduled sessions) on the CashierPRO application, to new clients, to take them Live on our application

- Rate of pay based on experience


Position Qualifications:

· Minimum of 2+ years in work-related experience, preferably Training or Support in a Software Environment (ERP/BMS software)

· SimplyAccounting & QuickBooks General Ledger knowledge would be an asset

· ability to read, write and communicate fluently in English – bilingual (French) would be a definite asset

· ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written format

· professional and courteous telephone etiquette

· self motivated with an ability to set goals and achieve them

· an ability to work and succeed in a fast paced environment

· listening skills with the ability to show empathy

· an ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure

· self learner with ability to apply information and adapt to changes

· problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to recognize issues and resolve them

· excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· a commitment to understanding and delivering effective customer service

· proficient computer/keyboarding skills

· basic Windows Networking Skills would be an asset

· minimum High School Diploma, but post secondary education preferred (or relative work-experience)
