Part-time Evening Faculty – Various Positions (STE 201700163)
St. Thomas/Elgin Regional Campus
Location: London
Employment Group: Part-time Faculty
Hours of Work per Week: Up to 6 hours per week. Evening classes - 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.Closing Date: August 25, 2017
Note: These part-time Faculty positions (up to 6 hours per week).
Fanshawe College, at the St. Thomas/Elgin Regional Campus, is now accepting resumes for Part-time Evening Faculty in the following areas:
1. American Sign Language
2. Training and Development
3. Occupational Health and Safety Legislation
4. Addictions Counselling:
- Drug Knowledge: Addiction and Behaviour
- Drug Knowledge: Continuum of Care
- Professional Ethics
- Human Development
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
- A combination of excellent leadership and teaching skills with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners
- Superior computer skills and a familiarity with educational technologies are required
- Experience with hybrid and online teaching preferred
SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS FOR ALL POSITIONS
- Post-secondary 2 year diploma in Business, Human Development or Addictions Counselling
- Minimum 2 years of recent and relevant experience
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered
- Previous apprentice teaching an asset
