Part-time Technologists - Registered Massage Therapist (HLT 41331)

Employment Group: Support (Temporary)
Hours:  Up to 24 hours per week for 7 weeks for the Spring term starting in May 2024 and ending late June 2024.
Pay Details:  $27.73 per hour
Closing Date:  May 8, 2024

Note:  These are part-time temporary Support positions starting May 6, 2024 and ending June 21, 2024.

Duties: The Part-time Technologist – Registered Massage Therapist will support faculty in the massage program labs with the following, but not limited to, reinforce student learning, laboratory set-up and tear-down, checklist data entry, and supporting student and client health and safety.


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Post-secondary 2 or 3-year Advanced Massage Therapy diploma/degree
  • Minimum 2 years’ massage therapy experience
  • General certificate in good standing with the CMTO and applicable insurance coverage with, as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) required
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered; preference will be given to applicants meeting the education requirements
  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
While transcripts are not required for the interview, they are mandatory prior to any offer of employment.
