Job Description
Agilus Work Solutions is looking for a qualified and passionate Intermediate Civil Engineer Designer/Drafter to work for our client in London or Kitchener, ON! This is an amazing opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience in civil, electrical, mechanical, and structural engineering.
Accountabilities/Duties/Responsibilities of the Intermediate Civil Engineer Designer/Drafter:
- Preparing detailed Civil 3D models
- Preparing plan, profile, section and earthworks drawings
- Proactive advancement of design and modelling techniques
- Coordination of design an drawings with other team members and consultants
- Occasional site work as required
- Progressive design lead responsibilities
- Provide training and support for junior staff as necessary
- Graduate of a Civil Engineering Technology Diploma program or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience in subdivision and site plan Land Development, transportation and municipal infrastructure
- Knowledge and proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and AutoDesk Civil 3D
- Excellent Civil3D drafting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Commitment to ongoing professional and personal growth; willingness to learn
- Ability to work both independently with little supervision and in a team environment
- Elibility for registration with OACETT (C.Tech or C.E.T.)
- Excellent initiative and problem-solving skills
Compensation:
- Full-time permanent position
- Fun schedule; Monday to Thursday 8am to 5:30pm, Fridays 8am to 3pm
