Senior Controls Technician

We are hiring for a Controls Technician with  ground up integration experience, and extensive background commissioning and installing turnkey automation solutions.

The primary responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

• Design, programming, testing and commissioning of automated control systems
• Responsible for creating and updating existing electrical schematics
• Creating project documentation and procurement of the required electrical components
• Customer technical support and quoting support
• Support existing equipment or installation of new equipment

Required Qualifications:

• Electrical Technologist Diploma OR University Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5-7 years in a custom automation environment is required
• Robot integration experience in assembly or welding applications
• Strong PLC Programming with Omron is required; other PLC’s such as Allen Bradley, Siemens, or GE would be considered an asset
• Knowledge of vision systems such as Omron, Cognex, or Keyence required
