Position Summary:
 
The Social Digital Strategist is an energetic, creative, self-starter who is passionate about social media and high tech B2B marketing. You are driven to spearhead the efforts to advance Media Sonar’s market position and online presence. You will be responsible for creating and managing Media Sonar’s messaging, branding, and market awareness, through eMarketing via social media channels. 
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Work with all internal stakeholders to assist in creating and drive corporate messaging and branding.
  • Strong grasp of Search Engine Optimization and how to optimize on-page elements.
  • Develop, execute and analyze social marketing campaigns.
  • Work with all internal stakeholders to create and manage marketing and sales collateral, and all social media content.
  • Work with internal staff and customers to develop case studies, references, and testimonials.
  • Manage content for the Company’s website and social accounts.
  • Ensure the company’s presentations, webinars, and presence at events is best in class.
  • Support channel partners with collateral, training, event support, and best practices.
  • Work with Sales and Lead Generation team to optimize lead quantity and quality from tradeshow events.
  • Develop strategy and implement email and social media campaigns and related content, and track analytics for nurturing leads for our sales and lead generation team.
  • Gather and analyze marketing campaign results, analytics data and sales metrics to track KPI and report to executive management.
  • Conduct market research to help develop knowledge of our markets and the competitive landscape.
  • Manage the writing, tracking and delivery of press releases. 
Qualifications: 
  • University degree or College diploma in communications, business, marketing or related fields.
  • Significant knowledge and background in the Social Media space.
  • Superior written and verbal communication with excellent formal presentation skills.
  • Understanding of lead generation funnels from marketing to sales.
  • Experienced online marketer, familiar with all forms of digital marketing.
  • Knowledge of SEO, social networking, content marketing desirable.
  • Team player able to work across all disciplines of the organization.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, retain flexibility and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Proven experience in maintaining project schedules, documentation, communications, and meeting deadlines.
  • Energy and creativity a must.
  • Huge geek at heart with uncanny social skills. 
Nice to have: 
  • Experience with CRM systems such as SugarCRM desirable.
  • Knowledge of HTML
  • Graphic design skill set
