ADECCO is currently recruiting a Paint Process and Quality Control Application Specialist to join our Client’s team. This is an ongoing assignment for approximately one year to a year and a half.
 
To support the performance of chemical coatings including solvents, basecoats or primers including but not limited to:

• Assist in identifying, analyzing and solving problems
• Collect and input necessary data and generate requested reports
• Using engineered studies and solutions to determine and evaluate sources of process and application variation which affect product quality to help solve problems
• Review product performances against customer requirements
• Suggest changes to improve conformance to requirements
• Base and finish coat inspections
• X-Hatch testing for paint adhesion

Requirements:

• Experience as a commercial paint application technician
• Engineering or Chemical Degree/Diploma, with some working experience
• Experience in temperature testing of paints before and after application
• Excellent interpersonal and communicational skills
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Suite- Word and Excel
• Problem solving, organizational, time management skills
• Must be able to work OT when required
