Part-time Customer Service Representative
Faculty of Technology
Location: London
Employment Group: Support
Salary: $15.50 per hour
Closing Date: August 8, 2014
Hours Of Work Per Week: 24 - Monday to Thursday 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Friday 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Note: This is a temporary part-time position (up to 24 hours per week) until January 9, 2015, with a possibility of extension.
Duties: Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, Faculty of Technology, the incumbent provides customer service, secretarial and clerical support in the day-to-day administrative operations of the Faculty of Technology. The incumbent provides assistance with some aspects of the Student Information System and responds to student/customer inquiries as the first point of contact for customers entering the office for this Faculty.

Qualifications:
- Post-secondary 1 year Secretarial/Office Administration Certificate
- Minimum 1 year experience gained as a front-line person in a customer service oriented environment
- Experience using a wide variety of software packages such as word processing, spreadsheets and email
- Some familiarity with Fanshawe College’s student information systems an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
