Jr. Developer/Help Desk Representative – Permanent, FT
In this permanent full-time role in our London head office, you will report to the IT Manager and will assist in the documentation, maintenance, and analysis of data related to Tribe in our ERP system (SAP Business One). This will include the updating of existing systems, creating & documenting procedures, database maintenance, and assisting in the on-going evolution of the company’s ERP system.
You will also assist in providing first line technical and customer service support to Tribe employees across Canada. Responsibilities include responding to questions about applications, programs, devices, and equipment, as well as performing troubleshooting procedures and solving technical problems related to computer hardware, software, components, and network connectivity. This includes but is not limited to desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, printers, MS Office products, the phone and security system(s), and various commercial software.
 
Qualifications:
 
  • Technical background with a combination of related certifications, education, and/or experience
  • Technical proficiency with MS Office (including advanced Excel), Microsoft operating systems, anti-virus, and Windows
  • Structured Query Language (SQL) knowledge
  • Customer service skills including a professional telephone demeanour
  • Demonstrated knowledge of server 2008/2012, Windows 7/8 and VMware virtualized environments
  • Ability to work well with co-workers and managers
  • Willingness and ability to learn
  • Knowledge of Crystal reporting is an asset
  • Ability to work occasional overtime and/or weekends will be required
