Customer Service and Order Desk Representative

Job Description

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the successful candidate must possess exceptional communication skills (both written and oral), customer service skills, and a high attention to detail.
 
Duties include but not limited to:
 
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Receive and process orders
  • Preparation of various correspondences
  • Data entry and submission of report information
  • General filing and office administrative duties
  • Sales order entry
  • Drafting quotes
  • Problem solving and following up with customers/clients as needed
  • Effectively handle problematic customer/clients issues as needed
  • Work independently as well as in a team
  • Work within a fast paced, busy commercial open office setting
Requirements:
 
  • At least 2 - 4 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience within a commercial/industrial environment is an asset
  • Must have excellent computer skills including above average skills in Excel.
  • Must have good analytical skills and problem solving skills.
  • Must be outgoing, professional and be able to build strong business relationships with clients/ customers.
Hours:
 
  • Flexibility to work up to 44 hours per week periodically to cover vacations etc.
  • Must be flexible for overtime as needed
 
Transportation
Must have reliable transportation as this position is not on a bus route
