We are recruiting a highly motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented quality team member to grow with us at SLEEGERS. In this newly created role, the successful candidate will work with our quality leader to continuously improve and enhance the capability and performance of our operations while also supporting the day-today efforts of our quality inspectors. 

We are looking for an analytical and technically competent team member who:

• Recently graduated from an applicable engineering technologist or technician program
• Has a base understanding of quality systems
• Has both a practically-minded mechanical aptitude as well as an analytical thought process
• Can demonstrate having a working knowledge of Section VIII of the ASME BPV Code, welding process, and weld quality inspections
• Is able to develop simple and present technical reports, including data analysis

Your core responsibilities would be:

• Support our quality leader in developing and administering the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) aspects of our pressure vessel fabrication and welding operations
• Aid in the development of production standard operating procedures, work instructions, quality inspection methods, root cause analysis investigations, and other process improvements
• Act as the cross-functional link between our production, engineering, and our quality teams
• Interface directly with customers and suppliers on process changes, non-conformances, etc.
• Support our quality inspectors by completing on-product inspections
