Scholar’s Choice has an exciting opportunity for a junior marketing assistant. We are looking for someone who is passionate about retail and e-commerce marketing, works well independently as well as part of a team, and thrives in a fast paced working environment. This is a contract (May-Sept) with the possibility of full-time permanent employment at the end of the contract.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assisting in launches and event planning (retail and Web)

* Assessing the results of a marketing campaign

* Providing marketing tracking and research information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.

* Helping to drive online traffic with web-related campaigns

* Writing online content

* Providing support to the marketing department

* Assisting planning and execution of social media

Skills Required:

* Intermediate MS Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint;

* Strong copywriting, spelling and grammar skills;

* Experience with HTML, CSS;

* Experience with Survey Monkey, Hootsuite, Mail Chimp, Wordpress, and all social media outlets;

* Experience with Google Analytics;

* Experience with Google Adwords and Google Tag Manager would be an asset;

* SEO knowledge and experience would be an asset;

* Experience working with an eCommerce platform would be an asset.
