Senior System Engineer Job Overview:
- Continually research new innovative technologies to assist with current & future
applications - Analyze and create the functional requirements of projects to ensure that they meet
customer requirements, safety and ergonomic standards - Analyze system specifications for purchased systems on applicability of function and method of integration
- Review processes, identifying potential process errors
- Understand, create, update, and test functional requirements for the projects
- Attend meetings for project kick off, concept reviews, design reviews, perform testing of machines and processes for applications
- Weekly meeting with systems group to discuss group initiatives, priorities, workload, address any current issues or inefficiencies within the group and generate solutions
- A passion for creating and implementing efficiencies using automation and controls’
- Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 5-10 Years’ experience in automation/ custom machine solutions
