Position: Receptionist - Wortley YMCA, London
Type: Part Time (Monday to Friday 4:30-8pm and some staggered weekend open to close shifts)
Responsibilities:
- Provide support for all inquiries at reception desk
- Act as the first point of contact for all visitors to the building
- Answer and direct all incoming phone calls, or visitors as required
- Coordinates the logistical aspects of booking space for onsite rooms, ordering meals, and answering general inquiries
- Demonstrates a professional, friendly, and outgoing demeanor at all times
- Schedules tours and room bookings
- Corresponds via email, mail, phone, in person and fax
- Assist with sorting and filing employee confidential files
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all interactions
- Performs other receptionist duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience:
- Excellent communication, and computer skills including Microsoft’s Excel, Word and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail
- Commitment to customer service and team work
- 1-2 years of experience in a reception, administration or customer service position is an asset
- Maintain confidentiality of employee files
- Current First Aid/CPR certifications is an asset
