Date:            September 23, 2016                       
 
Position:     Receptionist - Wortley YMCA, London
             
Type:            Part Time (Monday to Friday 4:30-8pm and some staggered weekend open to close shifts)
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Provide support for all inquiries at reception desk
  • Act as the first point of contact for all visitors to the building
  • Answer and direct all incoming phone calls, or visitors as required
  • Coordinates the logistical aspects of booking space for onsite rooms, ordering meals, and answering general inquiries
  • Demonstrates a professional, friendly, and outgoing demeanor at all times 
  • Schedules tours and room bookings
  • Corresponds via email, mail, phone, in person and fax
  • Assist with sorting and filing employee confidential files
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all interactions
  • Performs other receptionist duties as assigned
 
Qualifications & Experience:
 
  • Excellent communication, and computer skills including Microsoft’s Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Commitment to customer service and team work
  • 1-2 years of experience in a reception, administration or customer service position is an asset
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee files
  • Current First Aid/CPR certifications is an asset
Current satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Position Screen is a condition of employment. This must be maintained for the duration of employment
