Our Technical Support and Services team supports our customer during initial installation of our telematics devices, as well as providing ongoing technical support. Description:
For the right candidate that is willing to learn, you will enjoy the opportunity to advance your technical skills in the areas of, telematics, industrial equipment, and controls, while  also building strong customer relationship skills through your management of projects, training, and  one on one troubleshooting. Furthermore, you will enjoy the opportunity to interact with software developers, application engineers, product engineers, quality, and production functional areas of ZTR as you grow within the organization.
 
Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
-Provide in-house technical phone support & trouble shooting on ZTR’s equipment and services (wireless telematics products and control solutions)
--Travel to customer sites for installation of ZTR’s monitoring equipment
-Provide technical training on-site to customers
-Provide support for new engineering designs & applications including testing
-Travel to our Canadian location for training
-Responsible for entering and maintaining consistent and precise documentation using our trouble tracking system
-Willingness to learn new hardware & software engineering skills and to help customers
 
Key Qualifications:
 
•Ability to communicate with multiple levels of customers and employees in various organizations
•Must be customer service oriented
•Solid communication skills (verbal and written)
•Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work directly with customers
•Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems
•Ability to work autonomously at customer sites and manage project scope & cost
 
Education/Experience:

 • Electronic Engineering Technology /Technologist associates degree or equivalent experience • Electronics troubleshooting, control systems background is an asset
