General Description
Distribute weekly/monthly quality related reports. Preparation of certificates of conformity and documentation related to Defence and OEM shipments. Coordinate internal and external systems corrective actions. Responsible for the maintenance and proper disposal of all quality documentation.  Document and data control, maintain master revision lists.  Provide clerical support to all Quality Assurance Personnel, coordinate calibration and lab tests activities. Various projects as assigned by manager.   
 
Skill/Effort Requirements
  • Computer Literacy – Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Self-motivated and able to work with little or no supervision
  • Good organizational skills
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to read/understand blueprints
  • Knowledge of quality assurance terminology and procedures
  • Knowledge of ISO 9000 quality standards
  • Effective organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving techniques and team building abilities
  • Ability to train others in the use of ISO 9001 BOS related procedures and work instructions
  • Knowledge of defence lotting procedure
  • Ability to assist in Internal Quality Systems audits involving an Audit Team
  • CQA Certification or related experience
  • Continuous follow-up of documentation
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and with frequent interruptions
  • Close attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines as required
  • Works with others inside and outside of the organization
  • Able to be an effective communicator
  • Knowledge of general Measurement Equipment Calibration and MSA requirements
  • Knowledge / experience in performing Laboratory Tests (i.e. Metallographic inspections)
Responsibilities
  • Document and data control coordinator
  • Assist QA Manager and QA Supervisor with all documentation
  • Preparation of certificates of conformity and documentation related to Defense and OEM shipments
  • Other duties as assigned by manager
  • Training employees
  • Distribute weekly/monthly quality related reports
  • Coordinate Gauge Room activities and perform specific gauge calibration
  • Coordinate Gauge R&R studies and maintain records in GaugeTrack system
Working Conditions
  • Exposure to dirt and noise in a manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to chemical, welding sparks and flash
