Job Position: Client Services Analyst – Rebate Management
Reports Direct to: Director of Client Services
Work Area: London, Ontario
Purpose:
This position is responsible for assisting and supporting clients using LBMX’s Rebate Management software. This role would include training new clients, supporting existing clients, suggesting upgrades/enhancements to the development team, and also aiding the LBMX support team in other LBMX software support matters.
Description of Responsibilities:
- Acquire an understanding of LBMX software products. Specifically develop expertise with the LBMX Rebate Management product.
- Develop an understanding and expertise in key areas of rebate management including
o Gain a knowledge of customer’s vendor buying agreements and assist LBMX customers in applying them to the LBMX rebate management software
o Advise LBMX customers in setting up rules for the payment of rebates to their members
o Train customers in allocating supplier products into the various rebate categories as determined by suppliers
o Recommending and assisting where necessary on set-up and reconciling supplier rebate programs
o Advise in developing rebate reports as requested
o Assist clients in preparing monthly general ledger reconciliations as requested in regards to rebate programs
- Prepare correspondence and handle questions from clients, internal staff, suppliers and members
- Participate in internal meetings
- Work closely with Project Managers
- Some travel to LBMX clients worldwide
- Additional duties not specifically listed, as required
Qualifications
- Background in rebate management either from customer or supplier perspective
- Three to five years of accounting and financial analysis experience
- Minimum of 3 years recent experience as a software technical analyst or related field
- College Accounting Diploma or equivalent Accounting experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Detail Oriented
- Team Player
