Job Description
This is a day shift position start time 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday however flexibility may be required due to the nature of the Transportation business.
Responsible for negotiating rates, booking loads with In house Customers, Load Brokers and Associate Carriers and watching Load Link load board for opportunities to book pick ups to build return loads for Trucks delivering in the USA.
Assign the orders booked to the appropriate trucks to maximize revenue and efficiency to facilitate their return to base as quickly as possible.
Communicate instructions to Drivers.
Monitor Drivers progress and update Customers as required.
RTL is primarily an LTL (less than truckload) Carrier but we do handle some full loads 53 foot Dry Vans and Roll Tite trailers.
Excellent Geographical knowledge of Ontario and USA a necessity.
Salary range - $45,000.00 to $55,000.00 and negotiable dependent on experience
