FINANCIAL ANALYST

LOCATION:                       Education Centre, London

SALARY RANGE:              $56,688 - $74,968 per year

HIRING RANGE:                $56,688- $72,355 per year

POSITION SUMMARY: The Financial Analyst provides support to school and departmental staff in relation to financial matters. The Financial Analyst completes tasks within one or more of the following areas: financial analysis and reporting; budget development and monitoring; financial systems administration; revenue and expense control; implementation of new initiatives; and organizational support and training.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Successful completion of a three (3) year degree in accounting, finance or business administration combined with successful completion of a CPA, CA, CGA, or CMA accounting designation or successful completion of four (4) year degree in accounting, finance or business administration. A minimum of three (3) years of related work experience using complex financial systems. Experience in an educational environment or public sector would be a definite asset exposing the incumbent to the protocols, procedures and dynamics of a political environment.
