Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain a designated portfolio of Commercial Clientele
- Assist customers and provide exceptional service with their day to day insurance needs
- Play a lead role in business retention and building customer relationships
- Follow set procedures and processes
- Responsible for incoming client inquiries via telephone, email and in personal appointments
- Gather information for the timely delivery of renewals
- Examine customer accounts and make coverage recommendations
- Prepare premium finance quotes and contracts
- Prepare and issue Certificates of Insurance
- Adhere to all system procedures and insurance company regulations
- Able to work independently and as a Team
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial insurance experience
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- High level of computer application skills
- Team player with positive attitude and strong work ethic
- RIBO License is required
- CAIB, CIP or CRM designation (or working towards) would be an asset
