My client is currently searching for a QA Assistant Manager to join their growing team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the development and implementation of Quality Plans and other procedures in the APQP process, review and approve validation test plans and results
• Drives continuous improvement and development of products consistent with established company standards
• Participates in supplier audits
• Develops and analyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product
• Formulates and maintains quality assurance objectives and coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other plant managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs
• Directs through coordinators, workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products
• Plans, promotes, and organizes training activities related to product quality and reliability

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree/Diploma from University or College
• 2 - 3 years related experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
• Excellent external customer and supplier skills/experience, strong attention to detail
• Experienced in client presentations, investigation and adjustments re customer complaints regarding quality
• Ability to mentor and improve the skills of the Quality Engineering Team
• Certificates, Licenses - ASQ, CQE, CQM
