External Quality Leader
 

 Duties, Responsibilities and Assets

• Direct liaison with customer(s)’ quality representatives for quality concerns post SOP
• Is the liaison between the plants and the customer to resolve concerns
• Works as the liaison between the plant quality personal and Marwood Quality Manager
• Direct the activities and supervise Quality Department Personnel to insure all Quality Procedures ,Marwood Procedures and MOS are being followed.
• Ensure that all employees are able to understand and demonstrate all job competencies as indicated in the employee job description.
• Ensure employee evaluations and performance appraisals are completed
• Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
• Direct workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability.
• Maintain confidentiality and advise Quality Manager on all important issues
• Coordinates root cause investigation and countermeasure implementation including verification
  and submission of Corrective Action Reports to customer(s)
• Provide technical support to Sales, Engineering, Materials and Production personnel using statistical analysis and sound quality principles for evaluating product / process improvements
• Actively participates on Marwood project teams and other assigned or relevant duties

Minimum Education / Training Required
 

• OSC Grade 12 or equivalent
• CQE, Quality Assurance Certificate or equivalent
• College or University degree preferred
• Extensive knowledge of GD& T, Blueprint & CAD data interpretation
• Direct experience with APQP and PPAP requirements and documentation
• Working knowledge of statistical analysis and problem-solving techniques
• 5 years related experience in Tier I Automotive manufacturing
