Temporary Industrial Electrician

 
Our client, a Production facility in London, has an immediate opening for a Licensed Electrician.  This is to start on a temporary basis with opportunity for permanent.  Must be available to work rotating shifts (days, afternoons and midnights).
 
 
Responsibilities will include:

• Install, services and repair wiring, conduits, lighting fixtures and other electrical devices and systems in a manufacturing environment
• Run electronic tests and inspections
• Cleaning contacts or circuit boards
• Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic control systems
• Comply with company safety rules and OHSA regulations.
• Troubleshoot, maintained and repaired industrial and electronic control systems and other related devices such as PLC’s.

 
 
Requirements:

• Must have at least 3 years of current experience in a service/maintenance role
• Proven experience in using tools specific to their trade
• Must be a licensed Industrial Electrician (442A)
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Able to work independently or as part of a team with minimum supervision
