Padgett Business Services – London is a leading provider of bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, income tax and advisory services to small businesses.  As we continue to expand, we are looking for a Account Manager to assume responsibility for a portfolio of clients.  This individual will report to the business owner and will lead a small team of accountants for an existing portfolio of clients.  Specific duties will include;

• preparing or supervising the preparation of financial statements, corporate and personal income tax returns, government filings and other financial reports as required by clients.
• meeting with clients to understand their business requirements, explaining the financial results and providing them with constructive advice about how to make their businesses more successful.
• managing resources to ensure service and profitability standards for the business are met, deadlines are met,  and client satisfaction levels remain high.
• providing supervision, support and training to junior staff to ensure the quality of the services provided and the continued development of your team members,

The ideal candidate will have 4 – 5 years of experience in a public accounting environment in a role that has included hands-on involvement in bookkeeping and government reporting.They must be willing to work extensive over-time during peak seasons as required and should thrive on change and the ability to deal with a variety of different clients.
