Job Description
Diamond Aircraft Industries is one of the world’s leading general aviation companies, producing a complete line of innovative, certified, composite aircraft. A global company, Diamond has 3 production facilities and continues to grow as we design and develop new and exciting aviation products and aircraft. We are recruiting for the following position:
Qualifications:
• Masters in Engineering preferred
• 10 years experience in Aerospace Engineering
• 4 years experience managing Engineering departments
• Experience in aerodynamics & performance, composite structures, propulsion and program management
• Experience with development of general aviation aircraft
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have a business acumen
• Must be results driven
Responsibilities:
• Develop direction for engineering in collaboration with Senior Management and President
• Lead aircraft development programs for completion on budget and on schedule • Identify opportunities and develop methods to improve performance and business processes • Support development of new business opportunities
• Mentor staff and develop talent
• Ensure work in team is performed in accordance with Health and Safety policies Work schedule is based on a 40 hour work week. Must be able to work a flexible work schedule and overtime.
Salary range: $150,000 to $215,000.
