• Competitive salary of $80-83K
• 3 Weeks of Vacation

• Currently on a day shift – plans to add afternoon shift which would be on a 2-week rotation

• Supervisor approx. 15 production team members primarily in CNC and Welding functions
• Plan, monitor and solve issues for production processes
• Ensure a quality product through problem solving and corrective action processes
• Ensure customer delivery requirements, inventory levels, and budget guidelines are met
• Participate in recruitment process and provide job training and coaching
• Ensure compliance to the Collective Agreement in all areas of employee management
• Conduct Health and Safety talks, and ensure ongoing Health & Safety compliance
• Conduct Supervisor Safety Audits and STOP observation
• Maintains shift reports/records and collects metrics for daily review
• Participates in continuous improvements process, Lean Sigma, and Kaizen
• Communicate with Production Scheduler to meet on time deliveries
• Handle grievances, ongoing performance management

• 7+ years of experience as a Production Supervisor 
• Must have previous experience as a Production Supervisor in custom manufacturing envionment
• Background in Welding or CNC strongly preferred
• Previous experience in a unionized environment would be an asset                                               
• Completion of post-secondary technical program preferred
