QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: Successful completion of a three (3) year Degree or Diploma in Child and Youth Counselling, Social Service Work or Child Studies and a minimum of one (1) year experience in a school Board or community agency providing counselling services to children and families.
Related experience involving First Nations, Métis and /or Inuit communities is preferred.
RATE OF PAY: $33.90 per hour plus 4% vacation pay
START DATE: As soon as possible, with an end date no later than 2017 June 30

This position is itinerant in nature and travel to different sites during the course of the work week is required.

The First Nations, Métis and Inuit Counsellor provides school based prevention and intervention services to address the social and emotional barriers to learning for First Nations, Métis and Inuit students in elementary and secondary school settings.TEMPORARY POSITION(S)
