Case Assistant
Goodwill Employment Link – London, Ontario
(1 Full-Time Position. 3 Month Contract)

 
 
Role Summary
Reporting to the Director of Intensive & Vocational Services, the successful candidate will provide assistance, administrative support, and conduct data analysis to ensure precise client service records, monitoring services to all members of the Goodwill Employment Link team.
 
Note: This position is offered as a three-month contract, from August through November 2014. The position is full-time.
 

Role and Responsibilities:
 
  • Providing administrative and data entry support, including: proofreading, updating/entering client information to database, maintaining resource cabinet, maintaining staff time & attendance forms, preparing miscellaneous letters/mail/faxes/correspondence
  • Prepare reports on a monthly and quarterly basis using Access and Web Tracker, as well as responding to ad hoc requests for reports from Manager
  • Customer service duties, including: answering and directing telephone calls, problem solve client questions, direct clients to appropriate staff
  • Booking and scheduling appointments and meetings
  • Set up, organize and maintain client physical files and documentation
  • Inventory tasks, including: review and request supplies as needed, monitor approved expenditures, monitor equipment usage and repair needs
 
Candidate Profile:
 
  • 2-5 years’ experience in a busy office environment
  • College diploma in a related field
  • Computer proficiency, including: Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, internet use, and data entry
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Knowledge of community resources and agencies an asset
  • Satisfactory results of a Vulnerable Sector Screening Check are required
