London Machinery Inc. is an international leader in the manufacture of concrete transit mixers with sales and servicing of refuse equipment, as well as sales of CON-E-CO® batch plants. We are currently accepting resumes by email only for the above captioned position;

ASSEMBLER WELDER

Successful candidates will be recent candidates of a recognized college, or have three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in the assembly and/or servicing of automotive, agricultural or heavy equipment. Your background is probably that of an automotive or truck mechanic, serviceperson, machine fitter, machine or mechanical maintenance.

Experience with MIG welding; hydraulics and/or 12 volt electrical systems considered an asset, including ability to interpret blueprints, use production documentation, including computer formatted information.

Assembler/Welder has a competitive wage and comprehensive benefits package (following successful completion of the probationary period). The starting wage for this position is $20.60 for the first five-hundred and four (504) hour probationary period; then $21.57; at nine (9) months $22.55, and at one (1) year $24.31.


Following the probationary period there are Company paid benefits: Group Life Insurance; Extended Health Care; Sickness and Accident; Drug Plan; Dental Plan; Vision Care, Pension contribution. The specifics of these coverages are determined and governed solely by the specific plans and/or policies. We work four, ten hour days, Monday to Thursday, or Tuesday to Friday, with occasional overtime required.
