Position Overview
The candidate will be required to distribute weekly/monthly quality related reports. Provide ISO information and training to hourly operators, supervisors, etc. Preparation of certificates of conformity and documentation related to Defence and OEM business shipments. Direct and schedule internal quality system audits. Coordinate internal and external systems corrective actions. Responsible for the maintenance and proper disposal of all quality documentation. Document and data control, maintain master revision lists. Provide clerical support to all Quality Assurance employees. Various projects assigned by Manager.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Computer Literacy – Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel
- Self-motivated and able to work with little or no supervision
- SPC knowledge and interpretation from manual and computerized sources
- Ability to read/understand blueprints
- Knowledge of quality assurance terminology and procedures
- Knowledge of ISO 9000 quality standards
- ISO 9000 lead auditor certification (RAB)
- Effective organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem solving techniques and team building abilities
- Ability to train others in the use of ISO 9001 BMS-related procedures and work instructions
- Knowledge of defence lotting procedure
- Ability to assist in Internal Quality Systems audits involving an Audit Team
- CQA Certification or related experience
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently, with frequent interruptions and meet deadlines
- Close attention to detail
- Continuous follow-up of documentation
- Document and data control coordinator
- Assist QA Manager and QA Supervisor with all documentation
- Report production/inspection SPC
- Maintain non-conforming material database and reporting
- Coordinate and lead internal audits
- Make recommendation for improvement to the BMS
- Coordinate Interneal and External systems corrective actions
- Preparation of certificates of conformity and documentation relanted to Defence and OEM Shipments
- Training employees
- Distribute weekly/monthly quality related reports
- Other duties as assigned by Manager
- Related Post Secondary Education
- 3-5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
