Shift: Continental Nights 7pm to 7 am

Must Have Requirements / Assets
- Clear criminal check and High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Be a Licensed Millwright (433-A) /Industrial Mechanic: 5 years
- Have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Manufacturing
- Have previous experience working with a CMMS Maintenance Software (Maintenance Connection)
- Have demonstrated experience in Welding Tig, Mig and Stick, Oxy Acetylene
- Demonstrated ability to read and understand detailed blueprints
- Having a strong Electronic/Mechanical background is considered a definite asset
- Having previous experience with high-speed packaging machine would be a definite asset
- Having some printing experience is considered an asset
- Demonstration of PLC knowledge is considered an asset
- Maintain production and facility equipment in working condition for maximum uptime.
- Carry out root-cause repairs and preventative maintenance to a broad range of mechanical equipment.
- Ensure work orders are completed thoroughly as assigned, in a timely manner.
- Perform outlined procedures for regular machine preventive/predictive maintenance program.
- Conduct trouble-shooting and repair activities for machine breakdowns as necessary.
- Establish and maintain maintenance standards; develop and recommend maintenance programs.
- Notify appropriate personnel of stock deficiencies and tool/material requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements in the facility's geographic location.
- Liaise with other millwrights to ensure overall job success, with the optimum utilization of available work.
- Adhere to all company policies and practices and work in compliance with the (OHSA) Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations.
- Must be a team player with exceptional interpersonal skills and be able to work independently.
- Must have strong mechanical and assembly skills.
- Must have strong diagnostic and hands-on experience in electrical trouble-shooting.
- Must be able to demonstrate multi-tasking skills and deal with a rapidly changing work environment.
- Must be extremely flexible to work between departments as required.
- Must be well organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Must have the ability to safely lift up to 40-45 lbs. on an occasional basis.
