Prime Management Group Inc. is pleased to be partnering with Goodwill in the search for a highly motivated, qualified and experienced Power Platform Developer/Systems Analyst to join Goodwill’s rapidly expanding and dynamic team.

 

Reporting into the Business Systems Manager, the Power Platform Developer/ Systems Analyst will be instrumental in advancing Goodwill’s mission by enhancing and streamlining business operations. You will empower teams through the development of proactive reporting tools, enabling informed decision-making, which will drive forward new initiatives. Working collaboratively with business partners and diverse stakeholders, you'll develop innovative IT solutions that automate processes and unlock efficiency.

 

As a proactive self-starter, your passion for data-driven insights and systems analysis will fuel strategic business decisions, and your ability to engage with end-users will ensure the seamless delivery of solutions. This exciting role involves designing, developing, and deploying business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Microsoft Dataverse. This includes building and maintaining SharePoint sites with integrated Power Platform solutions and integrating external data sources such as POS, ADP, SharePoint, and Excel into Power BI datasets for comprehensive BI dashboards. The position also entails creating interactive and actionable reports from complex datasets, supporting the full BI lifecycle, and building IT solutions to automate business processes. Finally, acting in the capacity of a Project Manager, you will collaborate on ad hoc problem-solving requests, training users on IT solutions, troubleshooting IT issues, and performing other requested IT activities.

 

To excel in this role, the Power Platform Developer should possess the following:

  • A three-year college diploma in Information Technology.
  • 2-3 years hands-on experience with Power Apps (canvas & model driven), Power BI and Power Automate. (experience working in the retail industry preferred).
    • Strong working understanding of Microsoft Dataverse, including data modeling, management, and security (Role Levels, Record ownership).
    • Experienced in building complex Power BI dashboards and ability to Power BI service-related activities (dataflows, incremental refreshes, linked entities, gateways).
    • Experienced in implementing solutions connecting to multiple data sources via connectors or directly via an API.
    • Good working knowledge of programing/scripting languages, such as .Net, C#, ASP.Net MVC, Entity Framework, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
    • Good working knowledge of SQL, database fundamentals such as multidimensional database design, relational database design.
  • Strong information management, research, and analysis abilities.
  • Good understanding of retail and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Effective organizational and problem-solving capabilities, with multitasking skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a desire to deliver the highest quality solutions, with a focus on providing exceptional client service.
  • Effective team collaboration and independent work proficiency.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills to partner with leaders and employees at all levels within an organization.
