The School of Adult, Alternative and Continuing Education requires temporary Literacy and Basic Skills Instructors to deliver the Literacy and Basic Skills program to an adult population throughout the Thames Valley District School Board.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:  A minimum of an undergraduate university degree with excellent English grammar and writing skills, mathematics proficiency and computer knowledge are required. The candidate must have an awareness of the characteristics and needs of adult learners with lower literacy/numeracy skills. A numeracy and writing assessment will be required for candidates selected for an interview.
 
DUTIES TO COMMENCE:       As soon as possible
                                                                                                           
RATE OF PAY:                         $27.84 per hour plus 4% vacation pay
 
EXPIRY:                                    2015 December 15
