Middlesex Mutual Insurance Co. (MMIC), with over 140 years in the insurance industry, is seeking a Licensed Customer Service Representative to join our talented and dedicated team. The position is a hybrid role with opportunities to work from home and our Ilderton, Ontario office. The position reports to the Manager of Operations & Customer Service.
Middlesex Mutual is a financially robust, policyholder-owned property and casualty mutual insurer with an annual Gross Written Premium of more than $13 million. We protect policyholders by providing peace of mind with reliable customer service and affordable personal, agricultural, and commercial insurance products. Additionally, we safeguard policyholders, families, and communities by promoting environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and community engagement.

The successful candidate will support the organization & growth initiatives by:

• Optimizing service delivery, such as providing quotes, application and customer requests
•  Offer professional insurance advice
•  Any other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal, communication and organization skills.

Job Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in CIP Program or near completion
• Willing to obtain an OTL license
• Intermediate level of Microsoft office
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
•  Knowledgeable of personal, commercial and/or farm insurance
•  Must respect confidentiality and privacy
•  Exceptional listening and writing skills
• Bilingualism will be a definite asset
