Job Description
ADECCO has openings for Laser CNC Machine Operators in STRATFORD, ON. This is an ongoing, temporary position with the possibility of permanent hire with the rate of pay being $18.00/hour. Job Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate various CNC cutting equipment
- Load and unload machines; clean parts as required
- Assist in counting and organizing product and subcomponents; Maintain accurate records
- Check parts for correct dimensions and other specifications, working in accordance with our ISO procedures
- Select and transport material to work area manually or using crane, hoist, and forklift
- Clean, lubricate and maintain equipment; replace parts as required
- Must be a self-starter, having the ability to work without supervision
- Operate computerized equipment and systems
- Computer skills: Ability to use software packages; knowledge of hardware; familiarity with CNC machinery
Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively and follow directions.
- Ability and willingness to acquire new skills
- Ability to manage priorities, work efficiently, and schedule time and production
- Health and Safety conscious work ethic
- Problem solve and identify the causes, determine steps to resolve; implement and assess solutions
- Ability to work individually as well as within a team environment
- Ability to follow written directions; interpret schedules work orders and drawings
- Excellent data entry skills
- Ability to perform accurate measurements, calculations, estimations, and scheduling
