We are a fast paced, growing Cement Manufacturing Facility, operating 24/7 in the Woodstock area.  We are currently looking for a Production Shift Supervisor/Foreman.  Preference will be given to anyone with prior Cement Manufacturing or Heavy Industry experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum Grade 12
• College or University education or equivalent experience preferred
• Mechanically and Technically inclined
• Valid driver’s licence
• No criminal record for which a pardon has not been granted
• Pass company medical
• Must possess intermediate computer skills
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
• Safety oriented
• Task oriented
• Would be an asset to possess or have experience: First Aid Certification, Lock Out, Tag Out; Confined Space; Working at Heights, Front Line Supervisor Common Core

• Ensures a safe working environment for all employees
• Supervises the production team and make sure production requirements are met
• Logistic and inventory reporting requirements are clearly communicated
• Provides fair and consistent direction along with feedback to production team
• Ensures heavy equipment procedures are followed
• Conduct yourself in a professional and courteous manner at all times
• Adheres and promotes all Health and Safety laws and regulations (O. Reg. 854 and 851)
• Understand and ensure compliance with WSIB
