Job Description
The North American Stamping Group consist of seven stamping facilities in
Welding Engineering Technician
Reporting to the Welding Group Leader your responsibilities will include:
· Resistance &, Mig welding troubleshooting
· Allan Bradley PLC troubleshooting and programming
· Programming and troubleshooting of Motoman, & Panasonic robots.
· Programming and troubleshooting Medar weld controls
· Develop and implement cost saving and continuous improvement ideas
· Assisting in automation development and new cell installation.
· Willingness to assist in miscellaneous maintenance activities as required.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years experience working with MIG and Resistance welding, Robotics and PLC’s..
· College or industry degree in Welding, PLC programming, industrial electrical, or robotic equipment.
· Proficient in utilizing MS Office
· Ability to work rotating shifts.
This position requires a team oriented person who posses the lets get it done attitude.
