Job Description

Located at our Head Office location, this position will provide end user and information systems operations support, with a positive customer service approach.
 

Responsibilities Include:

• Assist in providing training and orientation to office network systems and IT protocols to each end user, upon hire and thereafter as required.
• Follow established software installation protocols, including restoration and refurbishing of existing computers (laptop and desktop), network setup and related configurations, email and any other necessary software.
• Perform PC and laptop troubleshooting and repair, and provide additional support functions to meet end user requirements as required.
• Assist in inventory control of all software and hardware, including maintenance of records of all serial numbers of PCs, maintaining the inventory database, and tracking software installed on each machine. 
• Ensure security of all information systems and resources, including all software, licences and computer supplies.

Experience & Qualifications:

• 1-2 years’ experience in technical support, PC hardware, PC repair, software installation, troubleshooting and user support.
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation required.
• Formal training and experience in network administration and user support is an asset.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows/NT operating systems, Microsoft Access, Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Hours and days of work may vary depending on business requirements. Flexibility in availability is required.
• Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills 
• Above average interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to end users.
