Job Description
Buckland Customs Brokers is currently searching for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in St. Thomas, Ontario. Reporting to the VP, People and Culture this busy individual spends their day:
• Managing a high volume of recruitment projects for locations in Ontario, Michigan and Texas
• Developing candidate sourcing strategies with hiring managers
• Fostering relationships with education and association partners
• Screening and interviewing candidates, presenting offers of employment and conducting orientation meetings
• Assisting the HR department with special projects
The successful candidate for this role will bring:
• 3 to 5 years of recruitment and selection related experience
• CHRP/CHRL designation and/or RPR designation
• Post secondary education in Human Resources
• In depth knowledge of employment related legislation
• Advanced ability to communicate effectively via phone and electronically
• A collaborative work style demonstrating ability to work as part of a team and independently
