Job Description
Seasonal Cook
Location: RiverBend Golf Clubhouse
We are currently seeking seasonal cooks (August - December) to be responsible for assisting with the preparation of food for member services as well as banquets and other special functions. Hours include day, evening and weekend shifts.
Responsibilities Include:
• Prepare and cook food for the membership as required in all food service operations in the clubhouse, as well as all functions held at the clubhouse and off site catering.
• Maintain highest standards of cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen on a daily basis.
• Rotate products as received and ensure that they are of high quality.
• Follow all recipe specifications as outlined.
• Set up all buffet tables as required.
• Follow approved opening and closing procedures.
Experience & Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years experience cooking in a restaurant style setting.
• Line experience is necessary, Banquet experience is an asset.
• Culinary education is preferred, either currently attending or apprentice.
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills.
• Available to work days, evenings and weekends as required.
