Job Description
Pathways Skill Development & Placement Centre assists individuals to overcome multiple challenges to meaningful employment by providing employability assessments, job search strategies, skills training and employment placement services.
Pathways is looking for a full time Health and Safety Trainer. The Health and Safety Trainer will be responsible for teaching courses in Red Cross 1st aid, Forklift, WHMIS, Transportation of Dangerous Goods and the new Working at Heights legislation. You have your Red Cross first aid certification and 5+ years’ experience driving forklifts and are certified to train others. Your Joint Health and Safety experience is also an asset.
In this role you will have the opportunity to train participants in our skills training programs, our job search workshops, and in our social enterprises.
