Agilus is currently recruiting for Financial Analysts for multiple clients in London and Chatham! These are contract opportunities with potential for hire on for the right candidate!

Job Duties include but not limited to:

€¢ Review and authorize invoice batches and perform various accounts receivables activities

€¢ Reconcile, accounts receivable sub-ledger to the general ledger.

€¢ Perform collection activity as required and case Management

€¢ Prepare investment purchases and related entries for the approval of the Manager.

€¢ Prepare monthly journal entries.  

€¢ Assist in preparing financial estimates for budgeting purposes.

€¢ Prepare budget vs. actual analysis for various programs and liaises with program managers regarding significant variances.

€¢ Maintain the internal budget reports and update them, as required and other Financial Reporting  

€¢ Prepare quarterly reports to the Board of Health and separate ministries (HBHC, ECD etc.);

€¢ Assist in preparing financial statements and year-end working papers.

€¢ Prepare sundry information / other duties as assigned.

€¢ Prepare government remittances for HST and other withholding taxes.

€¢ Reconcile balance sheet accounts and assist in documentation of the financial systems and procedures.

Criteria & Qualifications

€¢ Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or Business-related area. 

€¢ 4-10 years' relevant Accounting experience in related area(s). 

€¢ Strong financial system skills with SAP, BW a plus and Microsoft applications especially Access and strong Excel skills. 

€¢ Strong understanding of how financial reporting and accounting processes function including system controls, financial controls, and risk assessment 

€¢ Strong analytical skills in financial reporting and accounting with a solid understanding of control processes. 

€¢ Highly motivated self-starter with the ability and willingness to take initiative: proactively promote, implement, and uphold the principles, aspirations, and strategies of the department/business unit/company. strong track record of delivery. Commitment to workplace safety. Requires 4-7 years relevant work experience. 

€¢ CPA or MBA is a plus

Pay Range: $28 - $39 depending on experience
